Temporary Employees

Temporary employees have fixed-term appointments and are expected to be on campus for a limited period.

Supervisors should email transportation@providence.edu to request a temporary parking permit, including the employee’s name, email address, and anticipated end date (if applicable).

Once submitted, the temporary employee may visit the Office of Transportation during regular business hours to provide their vehicle information and pick up their permit. Pickup hours for permits are listed on this page.

Temporary Employees may park in the Anderson Garage. While the permit grants permission to park, it does not guarantee a parking space will be available. We recommend planning ahead just in case the Anderson Garage is full.

Replacement Permits

If your permit or hangtag is damaged and requires replacement, please bring it to the Office of Transportation to receive a new one. If your permit or hangtag is lost, notify the Office of Transportation immediately. A replacement permit will be issued for your vehicle, and you will be informed when it is ready for pickup.
