Graduate Assistants
All graduate assistants are eligible to apply for a 2026-2027 academic year parking permit at the end of June 2026. Graduate assistants must have access to their graduate assistant credentials before applying for a Graduate Assistant Parking Permit. If you are not able to log into the ARMS Parking App using your graduate assistant email, please contact us at transportation@providence.edu.
Parking permits authorize vehicles to park on campus; however, a permit does not guarantee the availability of a parking space. If no spaces are available in the areas designated for a specific permit type, the vehicle must be parked off campus and may not be parked in campus areas assigned to other permit types.
Application Process
Graduate assistants may request a Graduate Assistant Parking Permit (sticker) in the ARMS Parking Application. Requestors will receive email notification when the permit is assigned and another when the permit is available for pick up at the Office of Transportation in Raymond Hall, LL60.
Sticker/Permit Placement
It is the responsibility of the parker to remove expired permits from their vehicle before the start of a new academic year or semester. Stickers must be placed on the lower left side of the driver’s side windshield.
A replacement sticker may be obtained for a newly purchased vehicle or a replacement windshield at the Office of Transportation.
Where to Park
Graduate assistants assigned parking permits may park in the following locations during approved time(s). There is no overnight parking with a Graduate Assistant Parking Permit. Graduate assistants living on campus shall contact the Office of Transportation at transportation@providence.edu for alternate parking arrangements.
