Visitor Parking
General Visitors
Visitors to the Providence College campus are eligible to park on campus at no cost but only after receiving a temporary parking pass from the Office of Public Safety. Visitors should proceed to a campus entrance to obtain a pass. General visitors shall utilize the the Huxley Avenue Gate Entrance located at 212 Huxley Avenue, Providence, RI 02908.
Admissions Visitors
Enter campus via the Phelan Gates (often referred to as the River Avenue Gate Entrance), located at the intersection of River Avenue and Eaton Street (Cunningham Square). Use 549 River Avenue, Providence, RI 02908 as the address for GPS or online map programs.
Campus Partners
Campus Partners are employees of vendors who regularly provide services at Providence College. Examples include custodial staff, Bookstore employees, and Dining Services staff. Campus Partners may park in the Anderson Garage.
Supervisors must email transportation@providence.edu to request parking permits for individuals who need campus parking but do not have a PC Card. Please include the employee’s name, email address, and anticipated end date (if applicable). Permits may be issued for temporary or long-term use.
Once submitted, the Campus Partner’s employee may visit the Office of Transportation during regular business hours to provide vehicle information pick up their permit.
Department Visitors
Departments hosting visitors can secure a Department Temporary Parking Permit through the Office of Transportation. This permit is designed to provide your guests with hassle-free parking during their visit. For a Department Temporary Parking Permit, please email transportation@providence.edu.
