Commuter Students

Commuter students live more than half a mile from campus and are eligible to apply for a 2026–2027 Commuter Parking Permit for the academic year, at no cost. Applications open in early August for the upcoming academic school year.

Please note that a parking permit (sticker) grants a student permission to park on campus, but does not guarantee the availability of a parking space.

Application Process

Commuter students may apply for a Commuter Parking Permit in the ARMS Parking Application. Please complete all mandatory fields, including your vehicle’s information. Commuter students may then request a Commuter Parking Permit in the ARMS Parking Application. The student will receive email notification when the permit is assigned and available for pick up at the Office of Transportation in Raymond LL60.

Students may only request a parking permit for a vehicle that is registered in their name or in the name of an immediate family member. In addition, each vehicle may only be linked to one student account and cannot be shared between multiple students for permit purposes.

Sticker/Permit Placement

Stickers must be placed on the lower left side of the driver’s side windshield. The sticker is not to be removed or transferred. A replacement sticker may be obtained for a newly purchased vehicle or a replacement windshield at the Office of Transportation.

It is the parker’s responsibility to remove any expired permits from their vehicle.
