Resident Guest Parking

Students must register their guests online with Residence Life at least 48 hours in advance. After obtaining approval from Residence Life, Providence College students and their guests must obtain authorization from the Office of Public Safety in order to park on campus. The Office of Public Safety is open Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 3:30pm.

To obtain a pass:

Providence College students must accompany their guest to the Office of Public Safety, and provide the appropriate ​identification including:

• student’s Providence College ID
• guest’s license
• paper copy of guest approval from Residence Life. ​

Upon approval, guests of Providence College students will be given a yellow hanging tag and are eligible to park on campus at no cost in assigned parking lots. Yellow hanging tags must be hung from your rear view mirror at all times while parked on campus.​ The hanging tag may not be transferred to another person. 

The parking permit will be valid Friday and Saturday (with overnight parking), and will expire at 2:00 a.m. on Monday.
