The Providence College Medical Shuttle is designed to ensure that all campus community members have equal access to academic, social and extracurricular opportunities.

Equipped with a wheelchair lift, the shuttle accommodates individuals with diverse mobility needs, providing a vital service for those who require additional transportation support on campus. Our shuttle ensures a secure and reliable ride on campus, whether it be to class or to your car.

If you need accessible transportation, contact the Medical Shuttle at 401.865.1166 or X1166 from a campus phone. The dispatcher will contact the Medical Shuttle driver on shift and provide the appropriate information.

Usage Guidelines

• The Medical Shuttle is exclusively for Providence College students and employees with mobility issues, facilitating on-campus transportation related to academic and extracurricular engagements.
• The shuttle operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, during the Academic Year when classes are in session.
• The shuttle operates on a flexible schedule designed to accommodate the varying needs of eligible students and employees.
• Advanced reservations are not permitted to ensure equitable access for all eligible users and maintain an efficient service schedule.
• The Medical Shuttle does not provide transportation to medical facilities (including emergency and routine appointments) from campus.
• The Medical Shuttle does not provide general transport and should not be used for routine or non-essential travel.
